Abbie is our first French Brittany, and we couldn't be prouder of this little game-finding machine. She is all that we had hoped for; she has a natural point, natural backing, natural retrieving, and natural quartering pattern. She is a joy to work with in the field. Her game-finding ability is uncanny. She was six months old when I first took her out on a wild pheasant hunt, and she tracked a wounded bird (shot by my friend) about three to four hundred yards out. Everyone, including me, was amazed by this little dog's ability to stick with the bird, circling back to pick up the scent trail. It was a fantastic scene to watch this little dog work things out.  She is an enjoyable dog to have around, in the field, and at home.
